California Transparency in Supply Chains Act
Shapellx is committed to upholding the highest standards of human rights and ethical conduct across our supply chain. We are dedicated to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain.
In compliance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act and international supply chain diligence standards, we implement the following risk-management measures:
1. Verification: We evaluate and monitor potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking within our product supply chain. Our verification process integrates international supply chain compliance frameworks, such as the amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI), to assess operational risks, which are conducted by independent third-party auditors.
2. Supplier Audits: We utilize independent, third-party social compliance audits—including amfori BSCI audit protocols—to evaluate supplier compliance with our anti-forced labor and human trafficking standards. These evaluations are conducted periodically, up to an annual basis, depending on the specific facility's risk profile and compliance status. The scheduling and notice period for these audits are managed in accordance with the applicable international audit frameworks.
3. Certification & Contractual Compliance: We require our direct suppliers to adhere to strict ethical standards. Through our standard supplier agreements and contractual terms, we require our direct suppliers to certify and warrant that all materials incorporated into our products comply with the laws regarding slavery and human trafficking of the country or countries in which they do business. Furthermore, suppliers are contractually obligated to extend these equivalent compliance mandates downward to their own sub-suppliers and subcontractors.
4. Internal Accountability & Training: We maintain internal accountability standards，under which non-compliance with our ethical sourcing policies by employees or contractors may result in disciplinary actions up to and including termination of employment or business relationships. Furthermore, we provide professional training to employees and management who have direct responsibility for supply chain management, focusing on the identification and mitigation of forced labor, human trafficking, and related supply chain risks.
5. Continuous Improvement & Traceability: We continuously review, update, and improve our monitoring mechanisms. In alignment with evolving global compliance standards, we are consistently working to enhance our supply chain traceability and mapping capabilities to ensure that our broader sourcing network strictly reflects these non-negotiable corporate values.
